Unfortunately we had to give our pro studio mic back to it's owner. So the vocal recording quality on this one is pretty bad compared to "Hard To Follow".
I actually don't like the second half of the chorusus ('The door is open to me' bit) - that melody, to my head, would be really cool as a bassline, but it didn't convert very well into vocals. Seems too fast, and - though I like silly - seems a little too silly.
The basslines are not yet 'concrete', and as I will likely tweak the chorus bit, the vocal melody may become a really cool bassline if Mark lets me have my way. But this is it for now, we'll work on another song. I'd like to get the groundwork out on at least one more before tweaking the other two.

Left Behind - (Hard To Follow) - Hard To Follow Lyrics

All Mix is all tracks, Raw mix is just bass and vocals.

Take One - I almost like this one better.
There's harmony overkill in Take Two, less so in this one

Take One I like for it's lack of 'harmony overkill', but the vocals hadn't been practiced enough to call good.
Take two, though the vocals are a bit more solid, suffers from harmony jumbling (either from simply too much at once, or bad note choices).
I'm very happy with the first two verses and their bridges. The 'chorus' makes me nervous because it sounds, to me, very cliché - perhaps even blatently stolen from some subconscious source.

That's the
"I don't know how to say to you
That what we're in is in you"
bit

If these notes sound 'just like some other song' to you, lemme know what song it is. It's driving me nuts.
